  1. I'm curious about Emma's sweating. Did it continue after the surgery? Also at one point you posted about her large amount of..um..snot. I was just wondering if that cleared up after her T&A and/or open heart. I'd be interested in a post (if you don't mind) of Emma: before and after. Perhaps it is not after enough yet. She just seems to be doing so well I was wondering how her other symptoms were.
(I ask because as a NICU nurse I often see babies with cardiac defects before the surgery but not after. We do not post-op cardiac children in my unit.)

  8. Emma's surgery site looks great. Love the stroller, it will sure come in handy. What a nice surprise in the middle of the storm. You probably can't wait to get out and go for a walk! Hopefully it will stop raining SOON!!

  10. she looks so much more colorful, you can see it in her face, not so pale and listless looking.
I wonder if she wasn't crying because she is getting a change in blood flow, blood pressure and oxygen. You know if you bend over quickly and you can feel that in your head, imagine a whole new oxygen level, blood flow to your brain, and organs, that must feel funky, cause headaches and the like and take a while to get adjusted to. Can't wait to see her sitting and doing more as she gets more energy!!

  11. I have been wondering how Emma was doing, she looks so good! The stroller is fabulous, what kind is it? It would be perfect for us, Meghan thinks she needs to ride too.
