Emma got her Central line and her Right Atrial line out! These are the two lines that go directly to the heart, so now I might be able to hold her a little later. I don't want to push it because she hasn't been comfortable when awake yet, so I don't want to make her even more uncomfortable by moving her yet. She doesn't like being moved back up in bed when she slides (or intentionally moves!) down in the bed.
Emma's needed the pacemaker just a few times today and we hope to have that, maybe the drain tube, and possibly her arterial line taken out tomorrow. The only bad thing is that the arterial line allows blood draws, so I kindof hope they let her hold on to that for a little longer before taking it out so they don't have to stick her for blood.
As for the prayer request, please pray that Emma's lungs will dry up on their own. She is really rattley and has some fluid going on which needs to be taken care of. She'll cough just a little bit but that has to be really painful to do with the chest incision.
I'll post some pictures in just a little bit, she looks much better today! This kid is amazing, and I know God is enjoying each little miracle that testifies of His goodness!!
