LONG video

(Don't forget to enter the 100k give-away drawing!)

Ok, this is super long. It's what many would call a "grandma only video" simply because it's too long for anyone else to want to watch it all :) But... Emma was in RARE form. SOOOO SMILEY!! AND, she was JABBERING! We rarely hear much other than a giggle, a cry (on occasion) and teeth grinding from this little one, but she was jabbering to Micah! Also, Micah isn't usually that intersted in Emma, but BOY WAS HE! LOL

FYI, The cable going from Emma's foot to her diaper is her pulse-ox cord which I wind up and fasten in her diaper tape so we don't have to take it off 2x/day. Less of a hassle for us, less 'intrusive' for her, and less times that the tape sticks and unsticks :) Win-win situation :)

Anyway, I rarely post the LONG ones but thought you might want to at least get a little peek at how well Emma is feeling. In the midst of all the dr. talk and issues, she's back to her sweet self--- with just a bit less food going in :) And Micah, well, he's just growing and changing. So if you don't ever get a glimpse of my webcam then here's another shot at "real life" in the Cornish house!

  2. Great video. Perfect to watch in a few years when everyone is up and running around. Will give them a clue of how they got around when they rolled. I think Micah has just decided he loves her.

  3. Ok the two of them rolling around is one of the cutest things I have ever seen. It's so great to see Emma doing so well! and that smile is priceless, I can't help but smile with her :)

  4. that is so neat. Does Micah possibly have Mosaic Downs? He has very mild features and is advancing so fast, you can see him even arching his legs like he wants to bear weight on them. I bet he is walking pretty close to on schedule. I notice Emma is laying down a lot and without her glasses, she might have some equalibrim issues, you don't get her more upright and with correct vision. Perhaps she could enjoy some more time in a walker or bouncy chair with her glasses on? I know adults that lay around a lot get very sick to their stomach when it is time to start sitting and walking again, perhaps you could get her more upright, stregthen those core muscles before surgery? Just a thought now that she is feeling better.

  5. I just loved seeing him rub her hair. They are so sweet together. She's pretty good and rolling away from him too!

  6. So sweet. I loved hearing E giggle so much in the beginning of the video. you can see the love and curiosity in M. Emma seems pretty tough for M to be rolling on her.
On another note I read on of the other comments and I do not think that mosaic DS has anything to do with how well you function. It just means that all of your cells are not affected. My son is doing very well (ie. walking at 17 mos) and he has T21

  7. It's so sweet to see how much they love each other. I love how Kristopher talks in the background the whole time about cooking. What a cutie.
