Well, I drove 3 hours in 2 cars there ($80 round trip in gas) had lunch with Mike and Mom +3 since we made good time ($30), then got there for them to tell us that he was in surgery in a different city. Not exactly a fun way to spend the day. We did get a copy of her records from her latest echo and the cath, so I guess that's good, but they could have FAXED IT to me! Oh well....
OMGOSH! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR :(
ReplyDeleteHow frustrating!!!!:/
ReplyDeleteOh no!!! I wonder why they didn't CALL you!!
ReplyDeleteThey could have CALLED you to let you know! I'm sorry!

I'm sorry. That is so frustrating. They sure don't seem to be in a hurry about this. What's the next step?

No, not at all how a busy mom needs to spend her day.
ReplyDeleteIt has been a while since I have checked in with your family. I have enjoyed catching up and seeing those beautiful children thrive.
I will remember Emma in my prayers and pick a RR button soon to post on my blog. By the way, Dr. Q did Wil's heart surgery too. I pray you get to meet with him soon.
I know how it feels. I think Doctors should have to pay you when they are late or cancel, just as we are required to pay if we don't cancel with advance notice.
ReplyDeleteThat's just sucky! I would have pitched a not-so-nice fit. Glad you can see the positives in situations like this.
