My house smells WONDERFUL! I have been "meaning to" start the crock pot for a few days now but I always think of it while I'm out and haven't done it. But I did purchase 4 tiny hens (yes, they're Cornish hens...) and put them in this morning. I walked into the kitchen to check on them and see four little floating bird butts. They sure do smell good though!
Add some sweet potatoes, steamed veggies, and dinner rolls and we've got dinner. I haven't made a "big meal" since coming home. Yes, that would be about 10 weeks! We had dinners being brought from church families for a few weeks of that and have either eaten fast food, frozen food, or small meals otherwise. It will be nice to sit down and have a family dinner with fresh cooked food tonight!
(Of course the babies will have bottles and K and B will likely have chicken nuggets with ketchup, a small taste of veggies, and rolls. They aren't much for "big meals" yet!)
So... who do you think is coming for dinner?
