if she can handle that much cotton in her mouth, could she handle some more toddler like food, like some slippery pasta (butter it up good for maximum slippage) without it being completely blended up? I know these kiddos have a hard time swallowing but I would think this would be a good sign.
She looks like such a big girl sitting up in her chair!
A friend of mine has one of these chairs and when I saw it I thought of you and Emma.It is soft and really light and very supportive. I wish I could also say it was cheap, lol! My friend swears by hers for her 6 year old son. http://www.childrite.com/childritetestimonials.html
I always enjoy reading your updates - it amazes me that you juggle everything so well!
For children with visual impairments our vision therapist recommends covering the underside of trays with black contact paper. This cuts down on visual distraction (the floor, child’s legs, etc.) and allows the child to visually focus on the toys on their tray. Taya - EC PreK Teacher
LOL! Ethan STILL does that with bibs! He will chew on anything BUT food! It is so annoying. Funny thing though is that because he always had a bib in his mouth, he was basically brushing his teeth all day, so NO CAVITIES! :-)
she looks great! and she is such a goof :) It seems as though she likes her new chair...

She's so grown up all of a sudden! I'm happy that you were blessed with this awesome chair for Emma. Can't wait to watch her blossom even more now.

Will you be doing PT & OT with her to TRY and get her to eventually walk? I'd hate to see her "stuck" in a wheelchair - or is this just for school?
ReplyDeleteEmma is looking healthier by the day! Praise the Lord! I am so glad you were able to get the wheelchair! Yay!
ReplyDeleteShe looks so big! yay for the wheelchair! She cracks me up with that bib.
