This is just a video of Emma this last 9 months. I finally got ONE done, and Micah's is next... then Brianna's and Kristopher's! The video is 7 1/2 minutes long so there's your forewarning that it's long! I hope you enjoy seeing her progress from the first days of February when we met her in Ukraine to now... 9 months, 3 surgeries, and 12 pounds later. Our little miracle girl!
Great video ... she has changed so much! Thank you for putting this together and sharing it with us!

Remarkable, truly remarkable. She is a wonderful treasure of a little girl :) I LOVE the picture of the three little one's on the bed after the bath! And the one near the end of Emma wearing that white fuzzy hat...oh my gosh, SO gorgeous!!

It's amazing how much she has changed. She has such a beautiful smile that can light up a room I'm sure. Thanks for sharing. It shows so well what a some love and caring (and of course hard work) will do.

ReplyDeleteMeredith,
ReplyDeleteThe video is precious! She has changed so much during this past year. She is definitely our miracle child. See what alot of love and prayers can do!!!! She is so blessed to have you and Michael. I love the picture with the Santa hat on her. That's our sweet little granddaughter/ LOVE THE SMILE!
Can't wait to see Micah's.

She is just beautiful...
ReplyDeleteWarm greetings from the Philippines,

How AMAZING!! Don't you wish this could be shown to all orphanage Directors & workers???
ReplyDeleteHugs & Happiness to all!
Her huge ecstatic smile, where you can see all her teeth is just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWhat a precious video and a beautiful angel child. You did an awesome job sharing Emma's Journey!
ReplyDeleteok, got me crying. Wow. Thank you for letting us be a part of the journey, and part of this beautiful video too. I am so moved by Emma, the last few pics, the Santa hat...omg...in my minds eye I see the little Daria in the green seeater everyone gave up on...everyone but YOU. She has a life, and its a GREAT one. Hug her (and all of them) up for me, willya?
ReplyDeleteThat video was really great! I have started reading over 40 adoption and Ds blogs in the last year but yours has touched me the most. I think about your little Emma and how she has changed. The pictures from Feb. show a glossy-eyed, very thin little girl who doesn't show any interest in life but now she is smiling and joyful. The pictures of her after heart surgery, those with Andrea and the recent ones of her beautiful smile are amazing! They all remind what a miracle she is and what miracles love can work.
ReplyDeleteI cried through the heart surgery photos, I cannot imagine having my child go through that! It was the picture of all the monitors that touched me! She really has filled out and I LOVE the fact she still plays with her foot! Amazing flexibility!
ReplyDeleteI see so many changes and how God's hand was in all of her little life. She is so cute and such a blessing! I can't wait to read about her more and her milestones. What a sweetie!
ReplyDeleteMiraculous changes! Praise God!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this.
That was beautiful! She IS a miracle child, and such a darling one too!
ReplyDeleteAmy
This is an amazing video! Emma is a gorgeous little girl - and reminds me so much of my Emma! You have a beautiful family.
ReplyDeleteRenee:
ReplyDeleteI thought she was absolutely beautiful the first time you posted her picture. Now she is not only beautiful - she's glowing with health. Not just physically, either. Thank God that the way was made for her to join your family.
Thank you so much for sharing this Meredith! This puts everything into perspective and shows how much LOVE can change even the most desperate situations!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see our nephew Ethan's progress as he gets immersed in love and TLC!
That was worth every second of 7 1/2 minutes. She's so precious and she's doing great!!
ReplyDeletePrecious little Emma, I loved every single second, she is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAhh, what a beauty! And what a gorgeous smile that girl has :) She is LIVING proof that God is in the miracle business!! :)

Wonderful!! It just shows what a "real" family with love and prayers can do. Praise God. I think she need a nick name like Miss Flexible LOL. All of the pictures were great I really enjoyed seeing how she changed...you can really see the difference from when you were in the orphanage with her..there is no sparkle in her eye, but shortly after you could see a different child. I dont know which pict. was my fave but the heart surgery ones were hard to watch...that was so difficult to go through with William, but the Santa hat picts are precious! Can't wait to see M's pictures
ReplyDeleteWow! Look at how chubby those cheeks are! What a year, nutrition, and love can do! YEA Emma!
ReplyDeleteShe doesn't look like the same child! What a testimony of God's love and care for the least of these! She is amazing! Thank you for sharing this!
ReplyDeleteLu
Meredith, I forgot to tell you this... I keep thinking the pics of her are Brianna! It is amazing they look so much alike now! Isn't that cool?
ReplyDeleteThank you for letting me post this on my blog! I've linked to Micah's video as well! Where do you find the time?
ReplyDeleteGreat video of both kids! I enjoyed watching both of them!
ReplyDeleteWow! I just watched hers and Micah's and the changes across the board in both of them are AMAZING! The best for me was seeing life come into their eyes. I don't know how else to explain it but there is a definite difference from the first pics to the ones when they are home and living as part of a family.
ReplyDeleteJust makes me pray harder to be able to be that family for a child like the children they used to be. Thank you so much for sharing them. I have been encouraged :)
