This picture looks very unassuming, a baby's hand on a tray. But this represents, to us, so many successes. First, the pink color of the skin and the pink nail beds. Now you know whose hand it is :) Second, the chunk on that little wrist and fingers! Third, the pincer grasp she's about to use to pick something up. And last, the piece of corn on the tray that those little fingers are about to pick up and not only successfully deliver to her mouth, but the fact that Emma is eating a complete menu of table food- not through a bottle, pureed, or even mashed, but in their WHOLE form... chewing and all.
I ran across this photo from Christmas eve when going through pictures tonight. I couldn't help but share :) I realize I just bragged on this little sweetheart last week with her montage, but wow, I love this photo :)
You, and Emma, are our inspiration.
