Do you have some resources??

Please leave me a comment or e-mail me at mkp1982@hotmail.com if you have an adoption blog (please describe your adoption- domestic/int'l- sn/typical), Down syndrome resources that you think would be helpful to families researching Ds, whether families or friends... or strangers that are curious :)

I'm in the process of putting some tab resources on my blog but would like to have them 'ready to go' when I publish them.

Thanks!

  1. I have a resource. It's this great family with four children, three with DS. I think they are so cool and find them so encouraging... here's their blog.

  2. Our adoption blog was http://dovefamily07.blogspot.comm, and our post-adoption blog is http://littleboydove.blogspot.com. We adopted our son from Ukraine in Nov/Dec 07 when he was 5 years old, a "typical" (lol) international adoption.

  3. we have adopted 3 kids with various degrees of cp (spastic diplegia and spastic quad), one child out of disruption, and one child out of foster care. 3 of our adoptions were international (korea and liberia w. africa) we deal with feeding tubes and pumps, seizures, ptsd, wheelchairs, dafos, nephrologists, endocrinologists, neurologists, mental health therapists and medications, ot, pt, developmental delay and making a child with no special needs feel special in the midst of all this other specialness. =)
