Milk and pee- both good things

I don't always blog about what's happening or what is concerning to me because, well, I think that would completely freak people out and without being able to actually SEE my kids would cause lots of jumping to conclusions. That said, I'd like to share what has been happening so you all can pray that this current 'fix' is here to stay!

The last two days Emma hasn't been eating very well. A bottle in the morning, one around lunch time (11 or so), and then a feeding fast until bedtime where she'll eat just like normal. Each time she was offerred a bottle in the afternoon she would cry and scream and work herself into a frenzy (that part's not unusual if she's offerred food and doesn't want it!). That in itself isn't so bad... as long as she's having wet diapers. Yesterday when she got up from nap dry and stayed dry the remainder of the day. Granted... she didn't eat anything either, so why would she wet? Of course my concern is dehydration so I was relieved when she downed 10 oz at 8pm and woke up this morning with a nice wet diaper.

If you would, please say a prayer that Little Miss would be back on her normal eating schedule and would continue to have wet diapers! We've been at the pediatrician at least once a week with at least one child- if not 3- since we got home, but we already have an appointment there on Wednesday for vaccinations, so can we shoot for that far?? :)

  3. Ok, I don't know why but when I first read the title, I thought it said MIKE and pee. I thought, well good for Mike! LOL! Maybe I need a nap!

Seriously, I hope and pray that Missy Miss Emma starts eating/drinking regularly again.

  4. Praying that she eats better today. I added Emma's link to my blog site several days ago: http://familylovenotes.blogspot.com. We will continue to pray for her.

  6. Since she had a cough earlier, have you considered that she may have an ear infection? My son has done that kind of thing when he had an ear infection.
