I sure did, and there were no lines. (I live about 45 minutes south of you.) The guy handed me one sticker and told me it was good for a free sandwich at Chick-Fil-A, and another sticker saying it was good for a free coffee at Starbucks. I looked at him in disbelief and asked him if he was joking -- surely we are not now bribing people to vote (not to mention it's illegal)? He wasn't! I didn't go to either one but when I passed Starbucks later yesterday night, it sure was packed.
at the polls i was told to change my shirt or i couldn't vote. not because it was threatening or anything, but because it said who i was voting for. new virginia law. thankfully i brought a sweatshirt to put over it... and got the info for the lawsuit against the banning of freedom of expression at the polls. :-)
then my family & i decided to move to europe. or australia. or anywhere but here because we're scared of obama.
(this is not an attack on his supporters - i can respect them as i hope they will respect me.)
Yes I did. Took less than an hour. Thank you everyone who voted early.

We voted just before lunch. We just walked in and voted without waiting behind even one person. Ah the joys of a small town.
ReplyDeleteI did indeed. And was only there for about 10 minutes, despite the fact that it was around 5 and I thought I'd hit the "coming home from work" crowd.
ReplyDeleteWas so excited to vote this year!!
ReplyDeleteAny change is a good change! (fingers crossed)
