It's a boy!

There's going to be another Cornish!

Yesterday the match-meeting was held for a 3 yr old little boy in the foster system that has Ds. We were one of three families that opened our home to him and we were matched!

We've got another 3 weeks of MAPP classes (after tonight's) and then we can meet him. We are excited (and extremely nervous :) ) about what God has planned. We did say YES and He is holding us to it! When He's driving it's all ok though...

I have no idea what I can share at this point but wanted to at least tell the news :)

    Oh Meredith, how wonderful! Can't wait to "meet" him.

    We called about a little boy in the foster care system with DS, he was 5, and we were told there had been over 200 inquiries about him! So I'm a little surprised there were 'only' three, ha! :)

    Meredith would consider doing a post on how you made education decisions for your kids? Now with Louey in our family I'm rethinking our education choices. Trying to decide the best balance.

    It's a boy is exactly how we announced the adoption of Marcus. I remember how very excited we were to share the news too! Actually, one year ago today 3/4 we met M & M for the very first time. This is a day you won't forget. I am so very happy for your new addition. They chose a great family. You are blessed!
