Our SDA appt went well! They are working on getting us the referral for Aleksa, although they cannot locate her quite yet. Be praying that they can do this quickly and get us her referral tomorrow.

More later! Of course there's many more details but I haven't had a chance to go home to type them up so I'm typing this out at a pizza joint over some tea and apple strusels :)

PRAY PLEASE!!!

  2. How odd that they would have an appointment set up without knowing where she is. Your in my prayers. Glad you are there safe and sound. Love the pictures. You guys are about the cutest couple ever in your little hats. =-) Hope you hear good news today. Shawnie

  3. I think their might be a lost in translation issue? I talked to the Ukraine team and they said you received your proper referals and are waiting on the referal paper, which takes 1-2 days for the SDA to issue. Perhaps there is a misunderstanding? Did you not see her referal at all? That is not what I am being told. Perhaps you thought it was an issue that you had to wait for her referal paperwork? Amy

  4. We are praying and will keep doing so. She's been a nightly part of our bedtime prayers for a while now and we're gonna keep it up til she's home with you guys and safe.

I really love hearing about all that's going on, so keep sharing when you can.
