We had been holding out hope

That we might get everything done today.  But it just didn't happen.  So we will go to the Embassy on Monday and get visas for the kids, and the first flight out after that was Wednesday.  Five more days in this 20x12 apartment with the 4 of us!  We WILL survive, but man oh man it's going to be a long 5 days!

The kids are bored, it's cold so hard to go out for too long at a time most days, and we have very limited resources and supplies.  Thankfully I saved the punching bags until today so they were "new".  We also have been slowly getting some of the other things out rather than doing it really fast and all at once so each thing can be enjoyed longer by the kids.

Now, what to do with 2 kids for 5 days in Ukraine??

  2. So sorry to hear that! :(

Praying that the Lord uses this time in a special way and makes your Christmas especially blessed. Praying also that He gives you creative ideas to entertain Aleksa and Wesley (and you and Chris).

We will be traveling to Kyiv either Saturday or Sunday, perhaps we can get together on Monday evening?
